guerra psicologica
  10

PSYCHOLOGICAL WAR Confrontation between parties through pressures and tensions caused by threats of attacks on one side and the other. The Cold War was a psychological war between the countries behind the Iron Curtain and those of the West, and, most not least, between the Soviet Union and the United States. In 1962 Krushev had Russian missiles installed on the island of Cuba and us spy planes discovered him. Kennedy threatened him with a war, which would be the third world war. The Russian ships arrived with new missiles near the island, creating a tremendous psychological war, but seeing that the US was very serious in warning the Russians rewinded and dismantled the already installed missiles.
